MINDFULNESS (MBSR) IS A PRACTICE THAT TYPICALLY CONDUCTED IN 8 WEEK SESSIONS FOR 45 MINUTES PER DAY. THE GOAL IS NON-STRIVING TO REDUCE STRESS, ATTACHMENT, AND PRESSURE WITHIN OUR DAILY LIVES.

 

APPLYING MBSR BASED PRACTICES TO YOUR DAILY LIFE CAN SIGNIFICANTLY REDUCE ANXIETY, DEPRESSION, PTSD, BUT AN INCREASE YOUR SELF CONCEPT BY ADOPTING A LOVING KINDNESS TOWARDS YOURSELF. 

MINDFULNESS MEDIATION IS A PRACTICE OF ROUTINELY SCANNING THE BODY FROM TOE TO HEAD, PAYING ATTENTION TO FELT SENSATIONS IN THE BODY IN A NON-STRIVING WAY. THIS MEANS WE ARE JUST BEING, NOT DOING. WE CAN BRING AWARENESS TO OURSELVES THAT ALLOWS YOUR BEING TO UNFOLD MOMENT BY MOMENT WITHOUT AN AGENDA OR ATTACHMENT TO THE OUTCOME. EMBRACING THE PRESENT SO THAT WE CAN LEARN TO ACCEPT THE NOW AND ELIMINATE THE WORRIES OF PAST+FUTURE. 

WE OBSERVE AND HAVE CURIOSITY TO THE FELT SENSE WITHIN OUR BODIES DURING THIS 45 MINUTE MEDITATION AND IT TEACHES YOU TO BECOME PRESENT, MINDFUL OF YOURSELF+INNER BEING, AS WELL AS BECOMING ACUTELY ATTUNED TO YOUR BODY.​
